What is this all about tho?

Creativity is magical and intuitive. There are no formulas to follow, clear steps or rules, which makes it both wonderful and hard! I know. I’ve been a working creative for 20 years. I’ve worked as an art director, a designer, and an illustrator. I’ve painted, made ceramics, done lino cutting, wood cutting, etching, tried my hand at sculpture (which I sucked at) and countless other crafts. I love all things creative. I’ve learned a lot through the years and love sharing what I’ve learned. And that is what I’ll be doing in the Creative Coven.

There will be online illustration workshops and deep dives into all aspects of creativity, like generating ideas, being original, developing your unique style and finding inspiration. As well as talks about the business and mindset side of things, like creative confidence, branding, marketing, and how to break through creative blocks. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask me anything creativity related.

There will also be a free-working session with accountability. Where you will have time blocked off in your calendar and finally get to that project, you’ve been putting off because other creatives are waiting for you to work together virtually. In these sessions, I’ll give you a little creative pep-talk, and we’ll share what we’re working on. Set a timer and then get on with it. Because the hardest part is often making time to do the thing!

I’ll share the tips, tricks and tools of the trade I’ve gathered through the years so that you don’t have to wade through the swamps of trial and error.

And, of course, Sir H, my meow-se will make special appearances!

The Coven is for all creatives, whether you’re a complete newbie or an established artist or anything in between.

It’s launching at the beginning of April. Book before the 15th of March to get the introductory offer of only R100 for the month of April. After that, it will be R250 a month. Keep an eye on my newsletter to get updates and more info!
