Private workshop – Creative play therapy
I often wonder why kids get to have all the fun. Kids’ clothing, books, decor, and bedding have glitter and cute illustrations. Adults get boring beige for our homes and clothing. Our books don’t have pictures and often deal with heavy topics like war and social injustice. And the thing is, is that play is good for you! It lowers stress levels, releases endorphins, and improves creativity and problem-solving. It improves your mental and physical well-being. And we can all do with some of that! The last few years have been haaaaard.
So, I invite you to join me for a therapeutic creative play session for adults. In this workshop, we will banish our inner critics, let go of perfectionist fantasies, and have some creative fun.
I will take you through various exercises designed to help you gain creative confidence and express yourself using colour, shapes, and lines. We’ll play with ink, paint, and collage in a zero-judgement safe space.
There will be a lot of art materials to play with, glitter pens, inks, watercolours, masking fluid, coloured pencils, and paper. I’ll demonstrate all the different materials and show you easy-peasy ways to play and create.
You might leave with beautiful art, but most importantly, you will leave feeling relaxed and inspired!
One-on-one or small groups only. Please get in touch via my online form to find out more.
Prices start at R750; the workshop will be at my home or a venue of your choice.
